The trend started with Okey Bakassi when he was appointed a Special Assistant to a former Governor of Imo State.Since then ,so many actors, actresses and even comedians have tasted the political grapes.
The latest is popular comedian Ime Bishop aka OKON that has been picked.
He is now the Special Assistant to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State On Ethical and Social Reorientation.
An excited actor confirmed the appointment on his Instagram page and also appreciated the Governor, Udom Emmanuel for the new job.
