NETng has reported that the much talked about newly opened event centre of nollywood diva Omotola Joade Ekeinde is now in ruins.The event centre opened on valetine’s day has been destroyed by rainstorm or so it seems.

Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade’s new event centre has been destroyed barely two months after it was launched.
The event centre Double Doors Events Place located at 8, Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way in Ikeja Lagos was launched on February 14, 2014 with celebs like Denrele Edun, Cool FM’s Freeze and others in attendance.
A source in Omotola’s camp confirmed to THENETNG that the event centre ‘crashed a few weeks back after it was hit by a heavy storm’.
On our visit to the event centre, another eye witness told our correspondent, ‘egbon afefe ojo (rain) lo woo‘ (a heavy breeze crashed down the marquee).
A worker at the event centre however told us, ‘we brought it down ourself because the venue is small, we want to expand it‘. Asked when the renovation will be completed, he said, ‘I don’t know sir’.
We also noticed a LASAA (Lagos State Advertising and Signage Agency) sticker on the signboard that reads, ‘Remove this sign’.
