Latest report reaching CKN showbiz has it that ,the man being suspected to have a
hand in the death of his wife,Mr Lekan Shonde was today taken to the scene of
the incident (home) by detectives from Homicide
CID department ,Panti Yaba in continuation of their investigation.
Lekan was
accompanied by the detectives .They police went through the home of the couple located
at Tiemo Street,Ilepo bus stop area of Egbeda,Lagos .
They took their time to comb the house for evidences before taken him back to where he is being detained.
CKN Showbiz
learnt that an autopsy is being carried out to determine the cause of her death
and the result will be known in the next few days.
Meanwhile our
investigation has revealed that close to 20 lawyers have indicated their interest
to defend the suspect when he is eventually charged to court.
It is not yet
known on what basis they will be doing this but further investigation showed
that they are ready to do this on humanitarian grounds.
Effort is at top
gear to get his family involved .
Friends and
family members of the man have been meeting daily to see what they can do to
assist the accused.His school mates are also putting head together to find a
way forward.
As at the
time of going to press,CKN Showbiz have not been able to establish what Lekan
has told law enforcement agents.
Neither have
we been informed whether he has owned to the crime.
It will be
recalled that Lekan Shonde, turned himself in few days ago to the police in
Lagos after being on the run for some days.
He was
accused of killing his wife, Ronke, a mother of two after some disagreement ,an
allegation he denied during a one on one interview with CKN showbiz (the only
media platform that have had the privilege of interviewing him).
The father of
two during the interview accused his wife of infidelity .He also accused his
late wife of having an affair with her boss (name withheld).
The police
said , he will be charged to court immediately they finish their investigation.
Its only God that knows the truth in secret places, if you are innocent, I pray he vindicates you. If however you are guilty ....
