REVEALED:HOW JIDE KOSOKO LOST THREE WIVES

Following the death of his wife, Henrietta Kosoko on June 6, 2016, Nollywood actor, Jide Kosoko has finally spoken up. 

Kosoko in an interview with Encomium reveals he learnt of his wife’s death on social media.

According to him, "I went to a particular event on Monday (June 6), I was not aware that my wife was dead until the person that was with me asked me to check the rumours flying around the social media about my wife’s death.

I referred to it as rumour because I still didn’t believe, if not until I confirmed it myself,” he said, adding, “I don’t know how to explain the situation. It is an unimaginable loss.”
Kosoko also revealed he is worried to death with what people are saying.

“Iyawo Keta; s’e awon aye oni m’aka fun mi?’ ( This is the third wife l have lost; won’t people be counting, keeping records?)” He said.

Just recently, controversial media personality, Kemi Olunloyo took to Twitter, calling for the actor to be investigated concerning his wife’s death.

Henrietta Kosoko slumped at their home on June 6, 2016 and was rushed to the hospital, where she was declared dead after a battle with diabetes.

Veteran actor, Jide Kosoko, who is the husband of late actress, Henrietta, who passed away on Monday, June 6, 2016, has lost a wife for the third time.

Kosoko, in an interview he had with Encomium in 2014, disclosed that he had lost two wives within a year interval. 

The interview was held two years before the demise of Henrietta, who died from diabetes, according to reports.

He explained how difficult it was for him to have lost two wives within a year.

Kosoko said, “When I lost two wives in a year, it was not easy but God gave me the opportunity to overcome it. It happened between October 1992 and November 1993.”

Henrietta was reported to have slumped at her residence, and was pronounced dead upon her arrival at the hospital.
